Minimum 3 years of experience with MPLS design, operations, and troubleshooting within a large scale enterprise or service provider environment. . Experience with design and hardware selection, sizing, and limitations . Knowledge of network virtualization using VRF, GRE, L3VPN's, and L2VPN . IP Routing protocols - eBGP, iBGP, M-BGP, OSPF capabilities and configuration . Strong design and engineering skills supporting MPLS networks and ISP connectivity . Ability to configure and manage Cisco ASA's and PIX firewalls in a large multi-context virtualized environment . MPLS integration; equipment, transport, QoS, IP routing, planning / migration in a multi-tenant environment . Ability to understand and maintain network documentation . Train staff on MPLS routing and troubleshooting . Experience with multi-vendor environments is recommended (HP, Cisco, Juniper) .
