Irvine, CA One year contract $55/hr c-c Max SSRS Administrator with Sharepoint 2010 * Hands on administration and system support of Microsoft Reporting Services integrated with SharePoint 2010. * Must have solid knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and Reporting Services best practices. Responsibilities: Support existing Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) infrastructure of 400 nightly subscriptions and 600 daily reports. Support multiple SSRS instances for development, production, and disaster recovery environments. Assist users with report creation and subscription problems. Work with SharePoint team to upgrade the following Microsoft products: SSRS 2008R2 to SSRS 2012. SQL Server 2008R2 to SQL Server 2012 SQL Server 2008R2 PowerPivot for SharePoint 2010 to SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot for SharePoint 2010 Function as technical resource to provide on-call support for system problems. Perform necessary problem troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, and reporting activities. Recommend and perform routine monitoring/checks of software, security, operations, procedures, and patches. Work closely with development staff to provide advice and support to properly implement development efforts into staging and then production. Consult with business users to design and develop reporting functionalities that meet business requirements. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Technical Requirements: · 5+ years of hands on administration and support of SSRS farm of 250+ users. · B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree. · Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work independently. · SharePoint Business Intelligence skills using PowerView · Microsoft SQL Server Certification · Experience in maintaining current Windows Server products including, MS SQL, IIS, and .NET Environments. · Experience with Storage Area Networks · Experience with VMware ESX.
