*SAP Developer Saginaw, MI Duration: 10 Months Contract* "The EAD Application SME will provide technical design and custom code direction for the delivery of SAP-based software solutions to meet business needs and requirements. The EAD Application SME serves as a project lead and technical resource for small through large improvement projects regionally and/or globally. The primary focus of this position will be to support the customization and implementation of SAP Business Suite 7 (i.e., the next enterprise architecture [NEA]) to meet the business requirements of The Dow Chemical Company and joint venture business operations to support the pivotal transformation of the organization. Working under the direction of the Solution Architect (SA / LAS), the EAD Application SME will work with small teams of technical specialists and developers to address complex problems and complete projects on an accelerated project schedule. The EAD Application SME will: • Assist in defining and maintaining the RICEFW inventories. • Manage the custom code (ABAP) work from functional design through test. • Inform the Solution Architect and Team Project Manager of custom code issues that may affect other areas of the project. • Assist in resolving issues regarding custom code components. • Participate in quality reviews of custom code designs. • Provide custom code status to Solution Architect and Team Project Manager on a regular basis The EAD Application SME will be involved in all four phases of the projects and will follow the ASAP methodology: 1) Blueprint (consultation and assistance to functional workstream teams), 2) Realization 3) Final Prep / Go Live, and 4) Post-Production. During project phases, the EAD Application SME specialist works closely with internal stakeholders, globally distributed remote teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
