*Cognos Admin 6 month contract plus ext RARITAN, NJ* *Must-haves* 2 yrs of application administration experience 5 yrs Development experience Quires Studio, PowerPlay Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Content Studio Strong experience with Cognos OLAP sizing, and troubleshooting Experience in ITIL, SDLC, and change management process Cognos transformer cubes, reports, and packages Cognos 10 or 10.1 *Plusses* Design experience Windows Batch and VB Scripting *Role* In this role, our client is looking for a strong Cognos Administrator to support 3 different BI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have started off in a development role, and advanced into administration. In regards to administration, our client is looking for someone who not only understands cognos, but also the infrastructure that supports it. They must have strong communications skills, and a firm grasp of Cognos. Their day to day activities are: Work with project teams to make sure deliverables are met according to the project plan. Work with various team on the back end (Storage, Network, Citrix, Windows) to keep the new platforms up and running.
