*Job Title : EMC Storage Engineer* Project Duration : 6 Weeks Location : NYC NY Positions : 1 Rate : Market LOCALS PREFERRED AS THIS IS A VERY SHORT TERM PROJECT *Job Description: * * * Job description for EMC/HP Storage Admin: Handling IT Change and Incident management which includes Storage administration of SAN Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 work. Record, follow up and close issues related to Change Requests and Incidents. Worked in environment where we manage SAN storage of multiple vendors which includes EMC clarion, Celerra, centera, Data domain , Avamar , HP EVA, HP XP24k, 3 PAR INSERV V400. Storage Operations ð Allocation and reclamation for *EMC-Clariion, celerra, centera, HP-EVA, HP-XP,3 PAR.* ð Perform* LUN Addition, Grow, Delete, Migration, Pivoting LUNs between Servers.* ð * Switch Zoning (Brocade and CISCO).* ð Creation of Pools and File systems in the Celerra and Centera and establishing the Migration. ð Establishing the replication between Celerra and Centera arrays. ð * EMC CTA Scheduling the policies and archiving the data.* ð Establishing the replication between HP 3 Par arrays using Remote - Copy. ð Power-down and Power-up the Storage arrays, EMC and HP arrays decommissioning. ð Auto-Lun, Thin Pools creation, and BC-Copies for XP24K array. ð *SANCOPY (Push & Pull) between EMC storage boxes(DMX to VNX, Clariion to VNX and Clariion to DMX).* ð Performing health check and Monthly storage scope report. ð Coordinate with vendors to resolve the technical issues. ð Creating Cases in EMC Power link for technical issues and driving them to closure. ð Storage scope report on monthly basis, Array decommissioning.
