 *DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
*

   - Participates in all phases of the system development and
   implementation process, and may act as a project manager on special
   projects. Enforce compliance of Middleware, Messaging and Web standards.
   - *Ensures the integration of the Web servers and all other supporting
   systems. Design and implement single sign-on integration. Design and
   facilitate the development of automation scripts for configuration, code
   deployment, server restart, log rotation, backup, and restoration.*
   - *Responsible for system tuning, optimization of information/data
   processing, maintenance and support. Configure monitoring for middleware
   infrastructure and Develop metrics to capture and alert events.
   Installation, administration and maintenance of middleware software.*
   - *Respond to production support level 3 escalations. Manage resolution
   of test and production WebSphere issues including break-fix, performance
   tuning recommendations, and project support.*
   - *Work closely with other solution engineers/architects, network
   administrators, DBA, developers and application groups.*
   - *Create and ensure maintenance of detailed documentation of systems
   and applications related to WebSphere products.*

 *SKILLS: *

   - *Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or electrical
   engineering; or Bachelor’s degree in other discipline and significant
   relevant experience*
   - *5+ years of experience in a related field*
   - *Demonstrated experience and knowledge of WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache,
   Aix, Linux and Windows systems.*
   - *Strong WebSphere Portal Administration experience including
   configuration, setup, admin, management of portal, etc.*
   - *Experience with or knowledge of Tivoli Access Manager, Tivoli
   directory server in Windows, Linux and Aix environments is a plus but not
   required.*
   - *Strong software integration experience and system integration design
   skills*
   - *Understanding of database structures, ORACLE, SQL and Stored
   procedures*
   - *Ability to quickly learn, creatively solve problems, effectively
   prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment*
   - *Ability to work independently and within a team, and to
   professionally interact with clients *
   - *Strong written and verbal communication skills required*
   - *Solid understanding of Server Monitoring and performance testing *
   - *Strong hands-on implementation, implementation planning and process
   management skills*
   - *Sound understanding of Authentication mechanisms and Single sign-on
   strategies *
