Position: *Sr. VM Ware Engineer/Senior Intel Engineer or/Manager Intel Infrastructure operations* Location: Edison, NJ and Greater Boston Area (flexible) Duration: 6+months ** *Job description: * • *VMware - Provide day to day VMware Support (7 Years’ Experience) * - Monitor Datastores for space and alerts. Take corrective action when needed. - Monitor Host/VMs for errors. Take corrective action when needed. - Monitor DRS/HA. Take corrective action when needed. - Design/Create new ESXi infrastructure - Installing ESXi 5 Software - Creating and Optimizing Virtual Machines (VMs) - Support Lab Manager - General Knowledge of Networking (VLANS, vSwitches, Trunks) - General Knowledge of Storage • *Exchange - Provide day to day Exchange Support (10+ Years’ Experience)* - StorageGroup and Disk Management - Move Mailboxes - Restore Mailboxes - Review NDRs and Mail Queues when reported - Take corrective action when needed. - Exchange errors - Take corrective action when needed. • *Microsoft AD / File and Print / Fax / FTP / Citrix (10+ Years’ Experience)* - Provide day to day support for Microsoft AD - DNS - DHCP - Group Policy - File and Print *- Provide day to day support for Eskers Fax (4 Years’ Experience)* - Block/Unblock Number - Trace and report faxes without header information *- Provide day to day support for Global Scape FTP (4 Years’ Experience)* *- Provide day to day support Citrix Presentation Server (10+ Years’ Experience)* • *Server Operating Systems (OS) / Applications (10+ Years’ Experience)* - Provide day to day support for Windows and Linux Server OS - Disk / File systems - Installing OS (Either physical or VM) - Determine what new patches are required and installing them - Installing and upgrading applications • *Server Hardware (10+ Years’ Experience)* - Provide onsite support to Hardware vendor for supported hardware. - Provide onsite support and diagnostic for hardware unsupported by a vendor • *Citrix: Experience with Xen technologies such as Citrix XenServer, OpenXen and Oracle Virtual Machine * *• Fluent in scripting languages such as BASH and PERL* *• Participates in on-call rotation – Provide 24/7 on-call support with mandatory support and response SLAs* *“Recruiting is made easier with JobPencil.com” * JobPencil.com – is the leading technology job portal which connects the Employers looking to hire highly talented professionals and the candidates looking for right opportunities and employers.
