OS/390-z/OS V5/6/7 *Job Description:* Relevant Experience: 10+ years Role Description: • Perform Lead DB2 DBA role 3+ years • Designs, codes, implements and maintains database objects • Experience in Database Design and Data Modeling using software • Monitor and improves Database Performance • Develop and review stored procedures • Plan and Implements Database version upgrade changes • Performs database conversions • Maintaining multiple Database • Work with users and management to determine data storage and access requirements as well as capacity planning issues • Develops and provides requested reports to management • Designs, Tests and implements database security measures consistent with the needs of the organization • Troubleshoots database problems • Physical and Logical database modeling, development and implementation of Database System • Performs DB2 Database sub systems data refresh. • Performance fine tuning and monitoring production system • Providing 7 x 24 on-call production support • Provides technical support and training to the support team • Designs, Tests and Implements a database back up strategy and disaster recovery plan Technical Skills (Mandatory): DB2 Version 7, 8, 10. OS/390-z/OS V5/6/7, DB2 Connect V7 Admin / Tools experience (Mandatory): DB2 Connect V7, DB2 Replicator, QMF V4/6/7, SPUFI, SMP/E, IBM DB2 Tools Suite, IBM DB2 Utility Suite, MVS/zOS Utility Suite, IDCAMS, DB2 Visual Explain, TMON/DB2, TMON/CICS, BMC/MainView DB2, BMC Apptune, BMC Utility Suite, CA Uni-Center RC/Query, RC/Update.
