*Job Title: Client Platform Architect* *Location: Boise, ID* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Start Date: ASAP* *Job Description:-* Administer and maintain SCCM 2007/2012 environment. Administer and maintain Citrix Xenapp and Xendesktop 6.5 and higher. Design, test, deploy, and maintain OS images across virtual and physical clients. Package software for deployment via SCCM 2007/2012. Sequence applications for Virtual delivery via SCCM/App-V. Management of end users personalization with AppSense. Automate work where necessary with VBScript/PowerShell and SQL. Develop custom reporting from information in enterprise databases (MS SQL). Evaluate hardware and software, participate in projects and maintain knowledge of current technologies. Work in conjunction with the server engineering, network and security groups on issues pertaining to the client computing environment. Maintain a high level of customer service. Manage and schedule workload in order to ensure business objectives are met on time. Maintains stated SLA and delivery goals as assigned from the department supervisor. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts both in a written and oral manner. Assist with the development, monitoring, and automation of the workflow and business processes to meet the goals of ERCOT Operations. Develop and maintain strong expertise in ERCOT policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Competencies: Planning and coordination of work. Problem Solving. Investigation and research. Mentoring. Education: Associate’s degree in Applied Technology, Engineering or related field or four years applicable experience is required. Certifications: MCDST Certification a plus. A+ Certification a plus. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years (in excess of degree requirements stated above) of progressively responsible experience in desktop support including software packaging and deployment experience. Experience with SCCM is a must.
