Title: Test Lead posted on 2014-01-22 12:32:09 Job Description:*Position: Test Lead* *Location: Bethesda, MD* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:* · Designs and coordinates test scripts as well as conducts and participates in walk troughs of application tests. · Conducts unit, module, system, regression, stress and pilot tests. · Prepares testing schedules and documents expected results. · Advises team on debugging aids available for environment. · Reviews functional/technical specifications and Leads the effort in preparing test plans/cases/scripts for software corrections and enhancements. · Facilitates the scheduling and performing testing, submitting errors/issues for correction. · Maintains awareness of new Quality Assurance methods. · Participates in the identification and monitoring of risks and issues. · Facilitates risk management practices. · Develops Quality Assurance (QA) processes for IR products and services worldwide. · Reviews system specifications and documentation at appropriate points in the System · Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Designs and develops test plans to validate computer applications for technical specifications and business requirements. · Proficient in front end Web testing and leading content-code initiatives. · Responsible for setting expectations, creating Test Plans and Test Scripts. · Participates in system development reviews. · Working knowledge of Rational Tools such as Rational Test Manager, Clear Quest, Clear Case and working knowledge of RFT and RQM. · Writes test plans for highly complex systems to validate functionality, interoperability and data integrity of a fully-integrated system. · Manages a full-cycle process for recording test discrepancies and communicating those findings to the appropriate sources. · Supports and follows quality processes in support of the development and production change management process. · Works as a team player and is a positive influence in the Department. *Key Skills Required:* · Experience in Web and Cross-browser testing, working knowledge of IBM Rational products such as Test Manager, Clear Quest, Clear Case, Rational Functional Tester (RFT) and Quality Manager (RQM) · Experience in SDLC and testing life-cycle (STLC), Development and Support. · Preferred Test Certifications like CSQE or CSTE Salary: 45 Click here to view full job description and apply<http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/98842> (Guest users can also apply) ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
