Title: Oracle Financials Developer - Client: SRA - Baltimore, MD posted on 2014-03-12 09:27:48 Job Description: Oracle Financials Developer # of Openings : 10 Job Locations US-MD-Baltimore immediate need for several Sr. Technical ERP Developers to support HIGLAS, the Oracle Federal Financials system used to process payments to Medicare contractors. This role will be located in Baltimore, MD. He or she will be an integral part of the prime contractor's team, which is responsible for continuing the operations, development, implementation, integration, maintenance, including software updates, configuration management, program management, transition, support efforts, and governance of the HIGLAS program. Daily duties include: *Providing development support to the end user community to meet business demand. *Conducting Oracle reports development, PL/SQL development, interface development, and data conversion. *Extending or customizing the applications to meet business requirements. *Troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs and reports. *Developing and testing custom solutions according to specifications provided by business owners. *Documenting custom development technical design and functionality, test fixes, and performing post-resolution follow-up to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. *Evaluating documented resolutions and analyzing trends for lessons learned to apply to future development. The persons selected to fill this position must be responsible, results-oriented individuals with a desire for detail and achievement. They must be innovative thinkers who consistently reach for new and unusual solutions to business challenges. All roles will be located in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities: *Performs application extension development, including complex analysis, design, testing, and debugging in Oracle Applications modules. *Design and Develop solutions in Oracle EBS modules *Write Technical Designs and white papers *Proficient in Oracle Developer 11.2.0, PL/Sql development, Toad, Custom PLL, and SQL Optimizer. *Participate and conduct working group meetings and explain the solutions. *Operations and production support. Qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. *At least five years' of experience working with Oracle Financials 11i/R12 in a systems engineering and development capacity; Oracle Federal Financials experience is preferred. *Expert knowledge in Oracle Financials applications modules AP, AR, GL, PO, and FV. *Must have good knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, Forms , Reports, Unix, BI Publisher, and OA Frame work Development. *Experience in the following: Oracle Developer 11.2.0, Toad, Custom.pll, and SQL Optimizer. *R12 upgrade or implementation experience with hands on development experience is preferred. *Good documentation skills. Knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Project. *Proficiency in authoring technical design specifications to meet business requirements for highly complex business needs. *Ability to interact closely with business analysts, DBA's, testers, operations, and technical infrastructure team members as required on design, problem resolution, and release process. *Significant consideration given to candidates with Knowledge of Java, WebSphere, or AutoSys.
