*Network Team Director* Mechanicsburg, PA Permanent position *NOTE:* This position will be a combination of leading/directing the Networking team and working hands on with the technologies- candidate MUST have strong technical knowledge and skills *as well as* management experience including budgeting. *Job Description**:* This leadership position is primarily responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing our client's enterprise data network infrastructure to ensure that performance and reliability meets and exceeds business requirements. The successful candidate for this position will be a motivated leader that communicates and interacts well with IT team members and professionally with internal and external customers. *Required Skills/Experience**:* *Education* · Bachelor of Science degree (EE, CS, etc.) o Candidates without a Bachelor's degree *will NOT be considered* · Vendor Certifications: o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Required o Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) - Desired *Technology Leadership * · *Six (6) years of managing a team of network engineers who supported large multinational WAN solutions* · Provides strategic vision, direction, motivation, training and performance reviews · Recruits, develops, coaches and counsels subordinates · *Fifteen (15) years managing large multinational WAN solutions* · Cisco Switches & Routers in a large data center environments · MPLS, Frame-Relay, and VPN WAN topologies · VLAN, HSRP, Spanning-Tree configurations · Data network design focusing on redundancy and resiliency · Ciscoworks, NetFlow and HP Business Service Management and/or HP Openview · Fault isolation and remediation · Capacity management, planning and reporting · Thorough knowledge of WAN, LAN and wireless network technology · A complete understanding of TCP/IP in addition to well-known ports and protocols · Network packet capture and interpretation experience · Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive network documentation · Hands-on experience with Wintel, UNIX and/or Linux operating systems · Experience with Firewalls, IPS / IDS and Load Balancers *Financial* · *Six (6) years of performing Budget Forecasting and Management ($7 Million Annually) * · Understands financial principles (Accruals, Forecasts, Variance, Depreciation, Expense, Allocations, etc.) · Prepares department budget, justifies proposed expenditures, accurately forecasts gross and net figures · Manages and reports on utilization rates to meet both gross and net budgets on a monthly and annual basis · Monitors budget, account activity and Profit/Loss issues for accuracy and drives corrective action as needed *Communications, Projects, Policies & Procedures* · Plans, directs and co-ordinates the efforts of vendors and internal stakeholders in the development, deployment and management of technical solutions and other projects supporting the division and region · Identifies opportunities where Exel can improve service levels and / or reduce operating expenses · Supports executive reporting through the creation of presentations, proposals and other documents · Prepares and presents service level updates and status reports on Projects, Network Statistics, Budgets, etc. · Experienced and effective ability to propose, refine and implement project standards, policies and procedures · Understands and promotes key IT processes (ex.
