.NET Developer Harrisburg, PA Phone + F2F US, GC, EAD Permanent position Our client is looking for an experienced .NET developer with a solid background in application development and web design in Harrisburg, Pa. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience developing business applications using the .NET framework in Visual Studio as well as developing and maintaining several databases in Microsoft's SQL Server. This role will require the use of web services to communicate with the back-end database. A solid understanding of Web-based technologies is preferred, to support the existing website and other web-based applications. *Requirements: * · Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field · 3-5 years' experience with the .NET framework (VB.NET or C#) · 3-5 years' experience with ASP.NET · 3-5 years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server · Experience developing web services with WCF · Experience with Web Design in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS · Experience with Mobile development a plus · Experience with JQuery, Sencha, or another JavaScript framework a plus · Experience with JSON a plus *Primary Duties Include But Not Limited To: * · Conduct analysis of current business processes and gather system requirements · Develop Front End User Interfaces in VB.NET or C# · Develop business logic based on the system requirements · Design new databases or support existing ones using MS SQL Server Management Studio · Troubleshoot and correct issues with existing applications · Create and modify WCF Web services to communicate with SQL Server · Test applications and their confirm desired results · Develop written documentation · Support End Users with software and hardware problems *Other Requirements: * · Mandatory (reimbursed) in-state travel including overnight stays · Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 20 lbs. · Satisfactory criminal background check. *"Recruiting is made easier with JobPencil.com" * JobPencil.com - is the leading technology job portal which connects the Employers looking to hire highly talented professionals and the candidates looking for right opportunities and employers.
