This will involve modeling of dozens of complex applications, tracking resource consumption, and gathering and predicting workload changes for the coming year in order to estimate changes in the deployment architecture needed to meet the peak demands of our customer base. The individual will work with the product management, development, operations, and finance teams to acquire the needed information, disseminate results, and help obtain approvals to make the needed changes. The individual will also be charged with looking for opportunities to improve resource utilization of key applications. Once opportunities are identified, the individual will work with the appropriate teams to drive implementation of the improvements. Skill Requirements: Strong analysis and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, adapting as needed to technical and executive audiences Demonstrated experience with capacity planning tools and techniques, performance analysis and performance modeling Hands on experience with commercial or ad hoc performance modeling tools. TeamQuest experience is a plus.
