Title: Solution Architect posted on 2014-03-31 12:26:46 Job Description:*Hello,* *Hope you are doing well* Role: Solution Architect Location : Bakersfield, CA ( Minimum 5 years as of Solution Architect experience ) Job Description: Responsible for technical fit of solution and serves as primary interface to interdependent technical teams. Identifies appropriate technology solutions for the business problem which are mutually agreeable and aligned with business objectives and all aspects of the Enterprise Architecture, which includes Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Application Portfolio Architecture, and Technology Architecture. Provides solution design recommendations reflecting an enterprise, strategic view and fit of the solution with established reference architectures. Maximizes reuse of existing and creation of shareable solution components. Develops solution architecture reference patterns and identifies potential reusable components. Takes knowledge transfer on key projects from current SA's, sufficient to backfill specific projects. Quickly learns local architectural patterns, document templates, assessment processes, project workflows, and release plans. Guides application development projects. Minimum 10 years of increasing responsibility in application development area, with minimum 5 years as Solution Architect. Preferred Skills: Technical Skills- Understanding of project architecture and artifacts in all phases of the architecture process. Advanced skills demonstrated in SOA design and implementation. Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and TOGAF. Advanced skills with Web Services standards. Functional skills with .NET 3.0 or higher. Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft development platform (e.g. - Visual Studio, TFS). Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft server and application services platforms and supporting products. Business Skills- Advanced client facing presentation and communication skills. Advanced ability to discuss detailed IT solutions in business terms to non-technical people (incl consulting and ability to influence). Collaboration skills; Ability to work with variety of contributors towards optimal solution designs.
