*Job Description:*

The Judiciary is looking for a highly skilled SENIOR JAVA Programmer who
has solid experience in developing J2EE applications. They expect this
Senior Programmer to be an expert on JSF (Java Sever Faces) and EXPERIENCED
in the creation of web services.



The purpose of this request is to augment the technical staff of the
Information Technology Office (ITO) to develop a web based application for
eCourts initiative.  The Contractor will be working on an Electronic Filing
Application that allows Attorneys to file documents electronically. They
will also work on another part of the application which is a case
management system that allows personnel to manage the uploaded documents.



The Senior Programmer will receive coding assignments from the Functional
Architect or Administrative Supervisor for programming enhancements to the
current system, adding new functionality, fixing defects and local
testing.



Contract staff will work at the direction of ITO staff and will be required
to contribute in all phases of project development.  This includes some
work with users, documenting system requirements as required, prototypes,
and work to implement the Web application within the ITO RUP protocols and
procedures.



All components must be clearly documented in the code and the code itself
must adhere to ITO's standards.  They must also be able, if asked, to
provide status reports to the project manager or leads and estimates for
projects and or tasks.
