Location: MILWAUKEE, WI

Job Description:
Senior Solution Architect: delivers and leads the development of feasible,
iterative solutions that reduces risk identified via audit and self
discovered issues. He/she needs to find a way to balance tradeoffs among
business needs for agility, time to market, and cost and business
expectations for system availability, accuracy/retention and
access/privacy. Leverages knowledge of technology and issues to bring the
right people together to identify, quantify, and qualify options and then
oversees efforts through execution to maintain alignment against desired
objectives. Works across various technology domains, synthesizing subject
matter knowledge from the perspectives of architects, engineers, process
designers, and people with end user experience to ensure changes made are
sustainable and aligned with the direction we're heading.

Responsibilities:
*Provide the IRM Controls team with analysis, design, and oversight of
efforts that will reduce the risk profile. *Assist with Risk Management
Funded projects to help clarify the desired outcomes and approaches from
which project teams can execute
*Assist with other IRM projects and operational work as directed

Qualifications:
*Experience and understanding of Information Security, Risk Management, and
Audit practices (CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or related certification
/training would be highly desirable though not required if experience is
commensurate)
*Experience and understanding of Information Technology across Mainframe,
Unix, WinTel, and Mobile platforms. (ITIL, CISSP, MCSE, or related
certifications and training are desirable but not required if experience is
broad enough).
*Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related discipline, or an
equivalent combination of education and work experience.
*Eight or more years of diverse experience in information technology across
multiple systems and technologies (e.g. architecture, integration,
component or object oriented design, .NET or J2EE, mobile technologies,
infrastructure design or management, information or database management,
etc.) including leading design for large projects.
*Experience in designing and implementing n-tier systems; may include buy,
build, and rent.
*Candidate must demonstrate proficient skills in the areas of negotiating,
conflict management, managerial courage, and influence without authority.
Prefer team leadership experience, including guidance and training of more
junior architect staff as well as experience in architecture and design
using a variety of delivery methodologies such as waterfall, agile (scrum,
SAFe), iterative.
*Prior experience with Insurance/Financial industry; Business
Administration experience or knowledge; or Process Engineering and design
would be ideal.
