This position is responsible for functions on projects of moderate to high complexity by working with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the IT organization; serving as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs; leveraging an informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing basis. 1. Ability to apply functional business knowledge to successfully meet work objectives 2. Critically evaluates the customer implications of technological advances 3. Ability to grasp and apply advanced business analysis concepts to solving problems 4. Capable of identifying and verifying themes and patterns imbedded within quantitative data, in a set of user requirements, and/or in a problem situation 5. Demonstrates a variety of effective techniques for collecting requirements from stakeholders in a project 6. Familiar with determining risks and taking risk management measures 7. Ability to identify potential problems through advanced analysis techniques and review test cases to assure effective testing of the application 8. Demonstrates mastery of Process Modeling in practical applications of a difficult nature 9. Demonstrates expertise in developing and analyzing Business Requirements Definitions in challenging and complex situations 10. Demonstrates mastery of the business case preparation in practical applications of a difficult nature 11. Work to capture their needs and requirements; for highly complex solutions 12. Define and document business, and non-functional requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders 13. Translate high-level business requirements into specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications 14. Obtain consensus by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation 15. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business 16. Maintain communication with HCSC management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested 17. Experience with HP Quality Center 18. Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a larger group of business analysts 19.
