Title: Workers Compensation Supervisor posted on 2014-07-23 17:07:03 Job Description:Qualifications: • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience. • 7 years’ experience handling Workers Compensation Claims, with 4 years in supervisory capacity. • Self-Insured Certificate required. • Current on continuing education units with designation. • Exceptional communication skills, including verbal and training. • Strong interpersonal skills in addressing interdepartmental issues, including persuasion. • Substantial knowledge of legal and medical terminology. • Considerable knowledge of Labor/Law rules and regulations of the State of California. • Extensive knowledge of audit requirements of the State of California and self-insured plans. • Proven ability to understand and apply reserving practices. • Strong leadership skills. • Proficient in math, reading, and writing skills. • Experience in performance management.
