MUST HAVE HEAVY Java but be a Software QA Manager / Software Quality Assurance Manager. 70% of the position is Java Development but you MUST BE A SOFTWARE QA MANAGER. YOU MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE AS A QA MANAGER AND SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER We are looking for a quality/technical specialist to assist our client with quality management of their software development processes for the Next Generation of a Case Management and Electronic Case Files system (CM/ECF). Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The candidate selected will be working with development teams throughout the software development process and will need to possess the ability to be diplomatic through the review and critique of work (skills in conflict management and resolution). Candidate will also document and present information to management and the team. 1. Managing Quality Processes for a Software Development Application (to include, but not limited to) a. Manage Peer Reviews b. Manage Code Reviews c. Manage the test environment software package build and installation process d. Assist in identifying and analyzing software bugs/failures for trends and recommended process improvement and new tools 2. Experience/knowledge of Java/J2EE Development Technologies – ability to read code with the following Java technologies: a. *Required experience *with the following: i. Java ii. JSF (ideally with JSF 2.0, but earlier versions will be acceptable) iii. PrimeFaces (preferred, similar software such as RichFaces or IceFaces will be considered) b. *Preferred experience *with the following: i. Web Services (RESTful Web Services; bonus: JAX-B) ii. JPA (Hibernate preferred) iii. Tomcat Application Server * PREFERRED **Experience*: 3. Manage the tools used for the software development processes i. Sonar ii. Jenkins iii. SOAPUI 4.
