We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and self-driven Senior DevOps Engineer who is interested in joining Desktops & Apps Engineering Productivity Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring availability and scalability of our 24x7 Test/Dev infrastructure and Private Cloud environments. You will also work with a group of talented software developers, testers, architects and senior management to design and Implement next generation of Infrastructural improvements using latest Cloud technologies like Cloud Platform to support future Citrix product development. Primary Duties / Responsibilities · Help build and operate systems for a rapidly growing Dev/Test infrastructure · Help drive Automation and AutoScaling efforts · Help develop installation and deployment scripts to drive Auto Provisioning · Help manage all of the Dev/Test Infrastructure’s systems (Network, Storage, Hypervisors etc…) and environments · Help implement and manage system Monitoring, efficiency and performance tools · Work with the Dev/Test team leaders in implementation of the computing infrastructure · Provide technical assistance to developers, testers and engineers to unify operational efforts · Design, develop and implement automated tools to improve infrastructure maintenance · Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other departments on technical matters. · Evaluates technologies, including Open Source, to meet project needs · Recommends and executes continuous quality improvement in Infrastructure and automation Qualifications and Requirements · Experience building cloud infrastructure using available technologies like VCloud/Hyper-v private clouds /XenServer /CloudStack/OpenStack/Eucalyptus/OpenNebula. · Knowledge of devops/cloud orchestration tools – Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Capistrano, PowerShell DSC (Desired State Configuration) · Experience with Core Networking Technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, Switching & Routing) · Experience with Storage architectures (SANs/NASs/Cloud) · Knowledge of big data and log management tools (Splunk/Graylog2/ Solr/ElastiSearch/Regular Expressions) or similar. · Experience of Web technologies (HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, ASP.NET) · Experience with Web Servers (IIS, Apache) · Strong knowledge of database (MySQL is preferred). · Knowledge of Agile development process. · Expert knowledge of Windows/Unix Networking concepts · Knowledge of PowerShell, PHP and Python · Ability to apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to rectifying problems in complex, interop environments · Strong written and verbal communication · Ability to lead/mentor team of engineers · Ability to multi-task & learn quickly Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience) · BS degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field is required · Minimum of 5+ years of directly related work experience (4+ years of work experience is required for individuals holding an advanced degree in one of required fields.) · Experience mentoring/leading an engineering team through a technical project. · Strong experience in at least one major OS (e.g. Windows, Linux) Working with Citrix puts you in the forefront of technology.
