with Spring.
- Strong object oriented design and architecture, design patterns, ability

- Strong relational DB: SQL, familiarity with one of the major databases:
DB2(preferred), Sybase, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one of Perl or Python
- XML/SOAP.

There are ten divisions within Technology.
Institutional Securities Group Technology: (ISGT) is a global team which
develops enterprise systems in support of COMPANY's Institutional
Securities Group, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Investment
Banking, Research, and Global Capital Markets. The team is organized in a
set of Practice Area Groups, each focused on a particular financial product
area or functional discipline critical to our business.
These include the following product aligned Practice Area Groups:
Commodities Product Group, Equity Derivative and Swap Product Group, Fixed
Income Cash and FX Product Group, Fixed Income Derivatives Product Group.
The following functionally aligned groups provide technology solutions
across product groups: Algorithmic Trading Connectivity & Market Making,
Content & Workflow Technology, CRM Client Applications, Electronic Trading
& Real Time Applications, Firm Funding, Client Financing & Funding
Administration, Production Management, Risk Technology, Trade Enrichment,
and Reporting & Allocation. Each Practice Area Group is comprised of a
number of smaller Practice Areas which offer further specialization.
Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) Technology team is responsible for
developing Risk Management systems for the Credit Valuation Adjustment
trading desk, also benefitting the firm's Credit Risk and Market Risk
departments, and is currently embarked in a multi-year new development
effort. Looking for a highly skilled, motivated, innovative Java developer
with breadth and depth of technology skills and strong Computer Science
background to help develop various components of the new system.
The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project
from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into
production and also have outstanding communication skills.
