Candidate will work directly with client’s centers developing scripts and automations enhancing work flows, eliminate manual touch points and decrease the end to end cycle-time. Candidate will need to work collaboratively with ordering centers and internal client’s business partners. Candidate will also need to work with existing projects and IT support teams to ensure continuity and proper communication with existing processes and systems. Responsibilities include: - Write user requirements and develop detailed system requirements which should include intersystem dependencies, source data identification, error handling and formatted output data - Develop and document work flow process documents highlighting scripting and automation opportunities - Build, modify or develop functional components of code with major applications - Design and code softer modules to work within existing and new software projects - Understanding of algorithms that sort/group large data sets into correlated groupings - Pro-actively monitor all planned releases and updates to dependent systems to ensure business continuity with any developed scripts/automations - Examine existing workflows to identify and create optimization opportunities Required Skillset: - Expert in the following computer languages and Scripting/Markup: PERL, XML/JSON, PHP, JavaScript - Experience with MySQL databases and API/Web Services - Ability to quickly translate and navigate through new code from different development styles - Planning and organizational skills - Ability to work in an AGILE development environment - Ability to summarize progress and articulate issues to a project team (strong communication skills) - Ability to take ownership of specific tasks and follow the project teams direction through completion with minimal supervision - Proficiency using web-based computer systems to locate technical information - Ability to create and maintain all supporting documentation - Ability to understand technical and user requirements in order to translate them into a functioning interface, script or automation - Independent worker that requires minimal supervision with the ability to develop and operate from high level scope of work descriptions - Ability to develop and work on deployment strategies within impacted user groups and business centers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
