*Bourntec* is looking for *Salesforce Tester* to join one of our client team in *Indianapolis, IN**.* *Role: Salesforce Tester* *Location: Indianapolis, IN* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Note: Visa copy is mandatory* *Description:* Will be testing new Salesforce apps/workflow that they have converted over from legacy Lotus Notes Applications This position is responsible for overall testing strategy, planning, and execution. *Challenges and Responsibilities:* · Develop and maintain consistent testing standards · Conduct and or coordinate testing for custom and vendor software · Responsible for generating test plans, test scripts and documenting test results · Work closely with application developers and business analysts in performing comprehensive software testing, including quality assurance testing of databases, modules and documentation. · Perform and assist Business Analysts with technical and process analysis · Provide technical support to IS and other departments, as required · Create various types of reference documentation such as user, technical, and operations guides · Demonstrate understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and general project methodologies · Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills required in interviewing and conveying information between users and technical staff *Skills and Requirements:* · Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills · Attention to detail · Strong analytical skills in regards to identifying potential points of application failures, thus ensuring accurate test results. · Extensive experience with various software applications, including internally-developed Client systems · Basic knowledge of accounting principles · Experience in budgeting and forecasting · Good understanding of Company business and industry · Ability to work with all groups of Company employees and consultants · Knowledge of Rational Requisite Pro is a plus.
