*Job Description: *
This position is an experienced Data Conversion specialist working
independently.
· Takes ownership of design, development and testing of all data
conversion/transformation, extraction and migration activities.
· Contacts customers to verify business rules and/or clarify data
analysis
· Develops plan for the live conversion Works closely with OIT
Database Administrators to quantify ETL processing impact on databases and
assist in performance tuning
· Identifies problems and makes recommendations on how to overcome
any issue
· Verifies converted data with the customers
· Works with the Data Analyst and the Data Conversion Technician to
ensure that all ongoing data transformation, de-duplication, extraction and
load functions once ready for production deployment are documented in
details
· This position analyzes and plans necessary business activities
and coordinates the plans for testing and implementing of all required data
conversion activities.
