*Job Title- Systems EngineerLocation-Charleston, SCDuration- 3 Months +**Job Description* - Responsible for responding security requests via the corporate ticketing system. - Communicate scope of work and threat assessment to Information Security and Datacenter Engineering. - Assess datacenters from a security perspective to grade compliance against corporate security policy. Create dashboard for security work that shows priority based on risk and standard remediation. - Act as a technical liaison between multiple business and technical teams with the intent of insuring business/security deliverables are met. - Administer, and support complex environments that consist of various operating systems, enterprise storage arrays, virtualized resources, and multiple networks for the associate facing infrastructure stack. - Leveraging the knowledge in planning for process and performance improvement; providing technical security consultation to various groups within IT. - Staying updated with new technologies and best practices; participating in enterprise-wide technology change programs having an effect on computing systems infrastructure environment. *Education* - Associates degree in Information Technology or related Experience - Industry security certifications such as CISSP preferred *Required Experience:* - Self-driven professional, very detail oriented. - Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. - Exceptional understanding of the organizations goals and objectives. - Superior written and oral communication skills. - Excellent technical support documentation skills. - Strong interpersonal and consultative skills. - Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required - Excellent ticket management and documentation skills required. - 5-8 years administering Windows and Linux-based systems for a medium to large organization - 3-5 years of experience in a technical security-focused role - 2-3 years supporting Windows-based desktop and server environments, Active Directory 2008, Windows DNS, DHCP, file & print services - Experience with VMware and other virtualization technologies preferred - Foundational understanding of SQL server clusters and SharePoint technologies. - Foundational knowledge of IP networking, FCP, NFS, LDAP - Experience with data protection and security methodologies used in enterprise datacenters - Experience working in a PCI-compliant and/or PHI environment strongly preferred -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
