Required Skills:
7 + years of end-to-end development experience of
*multi-tiered Java J2EE Web Applications.*
Through hands on working expertise with *J2EE, Java 1.6, Spring, Spring
MVC, Hibernate, EJB 3.0, Struts, SOAP and RESTful Web Services, ANT,
Maven.*
Extensive work experience with *HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery,
XML, JSON, XSLT.*
Strong foundation in Core Java and Object Oriented Programming and
Design Concepts.
Knowledge of emerging Java and Web Technologies (HTML5 / CSS3,
JavaScript Frameworks, Open Source Technologies).
Prior experience working with relational databases (Preferably Oracle
10g/11g).
Strong understanding and experience with SQL/Stored Procedures.
Additional experience in the following would be a plus:
Experience in using *Jquery Mobile and creating Android Apps is* a big
plus.
Experience with *Eclipse IDE, profilers, debuggers.*
Prior experience working with *Jboss and Apache servers. *
Working knowledge of *Unix/Solaris OS.*
General Responsibilities:
Participate in designing and developing of new application systems
and/or life-cycle enhancement to existing applications in multiple system
environments.
Understands complex business logic and builds code for web and
cross-platform mobile environments.
Design and create code in an Agile fashion.
Provide estimates of level of work by assessing requirements from
Business Analysts.
Serve as a part of development team to provide enhancements, features
and maintain development standards.
Coordinate with deployment manager for Production deployments.
Effectively create or update documentation for the structure and
function of the new application or enhancements.
Understand various upcoming tools and technologies in the market and
make suggestions for improvements.
