Job Description:
The Database Administrator shall provide database administration for
development and production environments and database environment to
software development teams.
The Database Administrator shall administer database servers (e.g
Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL), support certification and patching
activities, and perform all duties related to on-going operation of
the database infrastructure.
Tasks shall include, but are not limited to, database and application
troubleshooting, installation, backups, configuration and performance
tuning, development support, scripting, and producing documentation
Specialized skill(s) required for this job:
7 plus years of demonstrated experience administrating oracle database servers
Experience in Unix shell scripting (bash, php, perl, python)
OEM, 11g oracle experience., performance tuning.
Upgrade Oracle database, Work with multiple databases using SDLC.
