*Duration: 12+ months with extension*
- *Required Qualifications:*
- 10+ years of experience working for large companies (Fortune 500,
global preferred)
- 6+ years of ETL development experience
- Expertise with the Informatica Suite (including PowerCenter,
PowerExchange, Data Quality, etc.)
- 3+ years of Oracle/Teradata development experience (DDL, DML)
*ETL Developer - Informatica*
*Responsibilities:*
- Works directly with Data Architects to understand and validate
requirements.
- Collaborate with PMO and Enterprise Architects to develop a data
integration strategy for organization.
- Collaborate with ETL Team on solutions.
- Work with the ETL team to develop ETL architectural standards and
rules.
- Establish and enforce technical standards for project deliverables.
- Provide input on long-term technology planning for data integration
and BI initiatives.
- Investigate and evaluate BI Technologies.
- Determine optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source
systems.
- Establish Disaster Recovery Strategy for Tier 1 Systems.
- Provide leadership in overall ETL Infrastructure.
- Direct and develop ETL specifications.
- Assist in the development process.
- Work with Data Services team to estimate projects – order of magnitude
(OOM).
- Oversee projects and educate other Data Services team members on
deliverables.
- Make recommendations to improve Data Services environments.
- Track all hours worked and provide status on a weekly basis.
- Create and update documentation.
*Desired Skills and Experience*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
experience required.
- 10+ years of experience in large companies, global preferred.
- 6-8 years of ETL development experience.
- Expert Experience with Informatica Suite preferred, including
PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Data Quality and PowerCenter Real Time.
- 5+ years of experience developing in ETL using Industry best practices.
- 3-5 years of Oracle/Teradata development experience, with hands-on
experience in DDL and - 6-8 year of technical experience with data
warehouse designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting.
- 3-5 years of Oracle/Teradata development experience, with hands-on
experience in DDL and DML.
- Teradata development Experience preferred.
- Strong experience writing SQL Queries, Subqueries, utilize inner/outer
Joins, SQL Case Statements and Analytic Functions.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to present technical concepts to senior level business
stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
