*Position: Network Administrator * *Location: **Los Angeles, CA* *Duration: **12+ months* *Onsite interview required* *TECHNOLOGY* - Cisco-based network that consists of the following datacenter core equipment. One (1) Cisco Nexus 7K Data center switch, two (2) Cisco 6509 Virtual Switching Systems Switches, one (1) Cisco 7606 Router, one (1) Cisco 5020 Datacenter access switch, and three (3) Cisco 2248TP Datacenter access switches. - Manages thirty-four (34) Cisco 6503 switches which provide connectivity for the floors. - Maintains over one hundred (100+) Cisco 1900, 2800, and 2900 series field routers and sixty (60) Cisco 2900 and 3500 series field access switches. The field locations are connected through various methods such as frame relay, metro Ethernet, and wireless. - Administers one (1) Cisco ASA Firewall, three (3) Palo Alto firewalls, three (3) Blue Coat proxy servers, and several network management tools such as Cisco Local Area Network Management System, Cisco Access Control Server, and Netscout nGenius ONE server with two (2) Infinistream data collector servers. *DUTIES* - Configure and maintain network hardware and software. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. - Coordinate activities with vendors to support existing and new systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve Virtual Private Network (VPN) issues. - Research, recommend, and apply security patches and operating system upgrades to network devices and network management tools. - Participate in the creation of Statement(s) of Work for services and technical specifications. - Train and provide knowledge transfer to technical staff and document all work performed. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* - Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years working as a Network Administrator configuring and maintaining network hardware and software. - Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years working with Cisco routing and switching technologies including the use of native management and configuration tools. - Four (4) years of experience within the last five (5) years designing, testing, and deploying network equipment in a network infrastructure with more than 1000 users. - Must have a current Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) Certification.
