*Hi,* *Hope you are doing great!!* *Role :* Sr. MQ Administrator/Programmer *Location :* Nashville, TN *Duration :* 12 Months *Job Description * *JOB SUMMARY * Primarily responsible for providing administrative support for Middleware Service initiatives from a technical perspective throughout the enterprise. Work collaboratively with other team members on various engineering, implementation and Middleware system support efforts pertaining to clients business, financial and clinical systems. >From an operational support perspective: ensure system reliability and availability, disaster recovery planning, problem determination, escalation and problems resolution for all Middleware products. Establish and maintain priority for repair of down platforms and changes to meet schedules and Service Level Agreements. Responsible for providing, communicating and implementing Root Cause and Irreversible Corrective Remediation for Critical Incidents. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES* (The essential responsibilities and accountabilities of this position including interactions with other departments and outside vendors, if applicable, in PRIORITY order.) Extraordinary analytical skills and a high degree of creativity; in depth knowledge of the business implications of technical approaches, directions and solutions; ability to innovate in highly complex technical areas, ability to achieve results and communicate effectively across departmental boundaries. Requires a general knowledge of supported platforms, utilities, vendor products, applicable programming languages, diagnostic techniques, database management systems, benchmarking and load balancing methodologies, applicable communications protocols, applicable hardware configurations, use of statistical and analytical tools for system monitoring and evaluation. Also a general knowledge of technology, network, data and applications architectures is required. · Middleware Management – In-depth knowledge of supported hardware and software (IBM MQ, MQFTE, Shell Scripting, JAVA, Windows, AIX, Linux, AS400, zOS, Wily – ‘DataPower and CICS would be a plus’) · Software Management - Coordinate and interface with various application vendors. Coordinate, plan, and conduct after hour’s operating system upgrades, migrations, and installs. Must have general knowledge of best practices change management. Specific responsibilities include overall responsibility for installation of software products on various hardware platforms, operating system installation and customization where applicable, troubleshooting, coordinating, assisting and advising in recovery from component failures of supported systems, and the ability to perform product and system performance benchmarks. Must be able to interact with and provide technical direction for end user departments, Infrastructure Services, Information Systems Development and Information Systems Operations. Outside relationships include vendors of hardware and software products, professional organizations, contract employees, co-ops, external auditors and consultants. Close consultation with HCA management to provide recommendations and/or advice on technical directions will be required.
