** ** ***Role: Java Application Performance Engineer* Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6+ Months *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Lead performance and stress testing activities to test platform reliability and scalability analyze areas of improvement in both application and infrastructure layers · Design and participate in the development and delivery of operability-related features such as system health monitoring, diagnostics and repair automation · Conduct performance evaluations of new technology upgrades and critical software/ hardware changes and design and prepare performance/stress/redundancy test plans and scripts · Analyze the current state of the application and infrastructure, designing appropriate solutions and working with teams to implement them · Coordinate and participate in emergency responses, perform root cause analysis, identify and implement solutions to prevent re-occurrences · Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, systems engineer and architects and take initiative to advance the quality, performance and scalability of our applications by influencing the architecture and design of our products with ‘operability’ in mind · Review each entire application stack and design, prepare and execute performance test plans to identify performance and scalability issues *Required Minimum Experience:* · 5-7 years of combined IT experience · 3+ years of experience with developing and maintain enterprise monitoring environments · 2+ years of working experience with Application Performance Management Tools (like AppDynamic or Wily), and operation intellegence tools (like Splunk, ELK or New Relic) · 2+ years of experience with one of the dynamic object oriented programming language like Groovy, JRuby/Ruby or Python · 1+ years of experience designing Web 2.0 solutions using technologies such as AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript (like jQuery, Amber, Angular, etc.), CSS and responsive design · 2+ years of experience with version control system (using Git, Subversion or similar) · 1+ years of experience with test driven development (TDD) · 1+ years of experience utilizing Continuous Integration (CI) severs (like, Jenkins, GoCD or similar) for build and process automation (CD) · Experience building & deploying application on a cloud platform is a plus (AWS, Azure, etc.) is big plus · Experience configuring/administering JEE application servers is preferred (Tomcat, Jettty, Weblogic, etc.) · Experience with web-scale distributed system implementations is preferred *Thanks & Regards* Gana __________________________________________________________ Maruthi Technologies L.L.C (D.B.A) Anblicks. 14651 Dallas Parkway, Suite 816, Dallas Texas 75254 Phone :972-347- 0935 | Fax :972-692-6957 Email :g...@anblicks.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
