*Security Firewall Specialist* Location: Reston, VA Contract-1+ Years *Must Have Skills:* · Administration, management and sustenance of firewalls and handling issues surrounding these technologies, network security and good skills in Palo Alto , knowledge in SDN (Software defined networking)/NFV ( Network function virtualization) security area. · Working knowledge of network security architecture and protocols, security threat vectors, networking, network security, and application security · In-depth knowledge of common network protocols, packet formats, and security vulnerabilities is required · Strong network protocol & packet analysis preferred · Experience with Unix/Linux OS & knowledge on its security features/implantations · Knowledge/experience on programming such as python/shell scripting a plus · Ability to work effectively in a high volume environment that is subject to frequent change. · Solid organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment · Advanced problem solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems *Preferred Skills:* · Preferred knowledge on Implementation, Build of firewalls from the scratch especially Cisco ASA, Palo Alto or any other standard vendor firewall. · Security Certifications CEH, CCSA, CCSE or CCSP. · Experience working in a large complex firewall environment ( Distributed architecture ) · The insistence is more on the security & design aspects of the firewall implementation rather than just configuring the firewall. · Strong network engineer (IP) who has experience on the security implementation aspects. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
