Hello -- I'd like to invite anyone interested to attend a meeting of the
Metrics & Evaluation SIG at the MCN conference in Pasadena. We'll meet at
the conference registration desk at 12:00 Friday, November 10 and go to a
restaurant.
Here are the topics I am planning for discussion:
Web metrics
What do you measure?
What are the issues concerning some of these measurements?
Other methods of evaluation
Any other issues people might like to discuss
I would like to increase the activity of this SIG. Please participate by
forwarding relevant news items, links, or questions to this listserv. In
order to provide a central repository of resources of relevance to our
SIG, I am tagging relevant items of interest on evaluation and metrics for
online products in del.icio.us. If you have any other ideas for this
SIG, please post them, and feel free to discuss with me at the conference
or e-mail me.
I would also like to remind you of the double session on Evaluation on
Saturday morning starting at 8:30. I look forward to seeing you in
Pasadena!
