Dear all, Just a quick line about this: http://www.venturebeat.com/contributors/2006/11/22/investing-time-and-mo ney-in-virtual-worlds-caveat-emptor/, wherein Raph Koster makes a point paralleling Ken Hamma's keynote at Pasadena i.e. that making digital content is not in iteself going to be a sound way of trying to get some money in. Building services on top of that content -or, as Hamma noted, allowing others to do so - is where we may find the ROI. It's not too profound an item but I just thought it was nice to see the point re-stated outside our world (namely, from the sidelines of Second Life).
