We are looking for colleagues willing share their experiences about lending 
mobile devices to visitors to encourage and/or broaden the audience for their 
mobile apps. We have reviewed the Museums & Mobile Survey 2012, but are hoping 
for more anecdotal information.

If your institution has lent or lends mobile devices for in-gallery or 
exhibition apps, what types of devices have you made available to visitors? Do 
you charge a fee for the app? Do you charge a rental fee for the device? How do 
you secure the hardware or ensure that it is returned?

We are also interested in hearing responses from anyone with plans to rollout a 
mobile project in the coming year.
