Wendy You may want to look at images from Harvard's Schlesinger Library on Women. They are available thru Harvard's VIA image catalog. http://via.lib.harvard.edu/via/deliver/home?_collection=via
If you do a search on "schlesinger" in the quick search box you get 20,000 hits. I'm not sure if these are considered public domain but you could check with them. I realize that many colleagues on this list serv may have come across preferred websites or search engines for finding caches of images in the public domain. I'd appreciate any recommendations of web sites or search engines that have been particularly content-rich or useful in that regard. Thanks so much! -- Wendy Miller WM ARTSMANAGEMENT LLC wm.artsmanagement at gmail.com _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to mcn-l, the listserv of the Museum Computer Network (http://www.mcn.edu) To post to this list, send messages to: mcn-l at mcn.edu To unsubscribe or change mcn-l delivery options visit: http://toronto.mediatrope.com/mailman/listinfo/mcn-l
