Hi all,

I am hoping for some insights into how interactive/web/new media groups are
structured in other museums, especially art museums. I'm curious about the
following:

1) What are the responsibilities of your team? Where do the lines get drawn?
(Web, exhibition/in-gallery media, digital signage, special initiatives such
as multimedia handhelds or virtual worlds, media support for programming,
etc.)

2) What are the internal divisions/sections within your team, if any? (Web
group vs. in-gallery media group, or by function/role, etc.)

3) How many people on your team are responsible for each major function?
([n] developers, [n] producers, etc.)

4) What projects are you completing in house vs. outsourcing? Is this due to
budget or other reasons?

Please forgive me if this question has recently been addressed in this
forum! I am fairly new to this list.

Thanks kindly for your feedback. I am happy to summarize for the list if
there is any interest.

Best,
