Probably got a point Matt, in any event bigger images is great idea. We are looking at IIPImage at the moment not for general consumption but for easy sharing among professionals of very high resolution images that result as part of the documentation of conservation treatment, investigation and survey. That will likely include zooming and panning but also things like mapping and viewing highly magnified cross sections of paint samples, overlay comparison of x-radiographs and natural light images, and the like.
