Hi David,

I agree with Bruce's comments on this and would perhaps just add that  
basic PPT presentations can usually be imported into Apple Keynote  
app w/o hassle and then exported easily from there as QT (for  
playback). I also think that simple local playback of a relatively  
high-def movie is much preferable to streaming. Take a look at Perian  
(http://perian.org/) and its free codecs if you need to playback AVI  
sourced material on the MacMini in OSX. Some of the same codecs are  
also freely available directly from MS, http://www.microsoft.com/ 
windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx
