Hi Peter, There is an emerging standard for sharing information on works of art called CDWA lite, http://www.getty.edu/research/conducting_research/standards/cdwa/cdwalit e.html. We are in the early stages of implementing this standard at the Met, and have found it useful for sharing records both externally and internally.

This would be like an "electronic fact sheet", and would communicate facts about an art work such as title, date, medium, size, signature, ownership, and the like. I'd appreciate any information.
