Marjorie Schwarzer

Chair, Museum Studies Department, John F. Kennedy University

Author of Riches, Rivals and Radicals: 100 Years of Museums in America

 

What are the challenges and opportunities facing Bay Area museums in
college towns, park settings and urban environments?  This conference,
featuring museum professionals throughout the Bay Area, addresses the
role of museums in each of these settings and how a museum's physical
context affects content, audience, competition, community partnerships,
and more.
