I was not going to wade in here, but as David kindly mentioned  
Nexhibition, I feel I have no choice...

Web based CMS is such an expanding field. A few years ago, you had to  
spend big cash for a CMS of any description.
Now there are so many (open source ones), it's difficult to select an  
appropriate one.

This is the best resource we have found to date:

True, Joomla! is cool, but it does have some quirks stemming from  
quite a long history of development.
Loads of developers are familiar with it too, so you should be able  
to find someone local to your area.
We plan to migrate Nexhibition to sit on a less quirky CMS at some  
stage in the future.
