LACMA's exhibition, Breaking the Mode: Contemporary Fashion from the
Permanent Collection, brings the pages of fashion's premier magazines to
life with creations from more than 50 of the most innovative designers
of our time. Whether introducing subversive elements into the
established system or deconstructing its conventions, these designers
have changed what is "in vogue" for good ... and fashion will never
again be the same because of them.

Come experience this fantastic tour of fabric, form and fashion-on view
from September 17, 2006 through January 7, 2007-only at LACMA.
