The enthusiasm from MCN 2010 in Austin has been huge and ideas for making MCN 2011 even more memorable have been coming fast and thick, so we have decided to open the call for proposals early this year in order to capture the momentum! From today you can go ahead and propose sessions, even if they are just early stage ideas at this point, scout out collaborators and panelists for your session, and comment on the proposals of others through the MCN website. Just keep in mind you?ll need to finalize your proposal by April 15, 2011.
N.B. You will need to log in to the MCN website in order to be able to add proposals and ideas to the site: http://www.mcn.edu/ Add proposals: http://www.mcn.edu/node/add/session-proposal See what others have proposed: http://www.mcn.edu/proposal-review-2011 More general ideas for MCN 2011 can be added here: http://www.mcn.edu/ideas-mcn-2011 You?ll have until April 15, 2011 to add and refine your proposals. In January 2011 we?ll mine the ideas and proposals submitted so far to articulate the main conference themes. So float a few ideas, invite others to get involved, and start building the MCN 2011 program of your dreams today! And if you want to volunteer to help with some aspect of the conference, just let us know, either through the website or by emailing me directly. Looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta, Nov 14-16, 2011!
