See also the New York Times pointing out that Wired's graph allegedly showing the death of the web is awful.
http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/08/17/the-growth-of-the-dying-web/?hp While web has declined as a PERCENTAGE of internet traffic, the total AMOUNT of web traffic has increased by a factor of 10. Wired's graph has video taking over in dominance, but that's an artifact of video being such a bandwidth hog. I'm very skeptical of any claims that the web is in decline - I'd want to see data that people are spending less time looking at web pages before I'd believe it. -Anders Oregon Museum of Science and Industry 1945 SE Water Ave Portland, OR 97214 503-797-4606
