Dear MCN-L,
We are mixing things up this year, and re-organizing our MCN 2010 marketing
efforts. Instead of a traditional marketing committee, we are looking for a
team of advocates who will fearlessly have a ton of fun getting the word out
about our upcoming annual conference in Austin, October 27-30th.

What are we looking for?
Individuals who like to network and are well connected with one of the many
niches within our industry- small museums, archivists, librarians, history
organizations, sciences, arts, visual resources, registrars, IT professionals,
new media, experience designers, coders, etc.

What do we want you to do?
*Email MCN info to list serves you belong to
 *encourage your colleagues to attend
*post MCN 2010 conference announcement to your personal FB & twitter
*hand cards out at conferences and networking events
*talk up MCN 2010 at cocktail parties, picnics and during the annoying work
fire drill

What do you get for all your hard work?
The advocates who get out the word will earn our undying thanks and
appreciation (in all seriousness) and will be a proud owner of a nerd merit
badge or pin.
Email me at christinad at seattleartmuseum.org<mailto:christinad at
seattleartmuseum.org> to sign up. You will have a lot of fun being a part of
the conference.

Please follow the conference on Twitter @MCN2010. Thanks!

Christina DePaolo, Conference Chair
