Please join us for an informal get-together at the Association of College and 
Research Libraries Conference in Seattle to explore the possibility of forming 
a new ACRL Image Resources Interest Group. This group would provide a forum for 
ongoing discussion of the unique issues presented by interdisciplinary image 
resources in libraries.

Time:   2:30-3:30

Place:  Convention Center Level 1 Pike Street Lobby, near Espresso Caffe Dior

Discussion topics for an Image Resources Interest Group could include the 
following:

*       Selecting and using subscription image databases

*       Choosing digital asset management and presentation tools

*       Working with images across systems and platforms

*       Supporting faculty research and teaching with images

*       Developing interdisciplinary image collections

*       Collaborating with academic departments and across library units to 
support image resource development and use

*       Image cataloging and metadata

*       Effective access to image resources through library web sites

*       Visual literacy

*       Image copyright

*       Digital capture
