There are a few free small exe's that you can use as viewers. If you
can't find them on the web, let me know and I can send them (listserve
strips attachments as you know). One viewer is "CT Image Viewer" by
Richard Beier. The other ACRNview by GNI Copyleft. There may be newer or
better viewers out there but these are the ones we use here and they
serve our purposes. The viewers are medically focused. However, Papyrus
and ImageJ are full programs (free- or share-ware) and have more tools
and algorithms for the non-medical community.

Subject: [MCN-L] x-ray viewers

I am looking for a free DICOM viewer for digital x-rays. There are loads
for medicine, but does anyone know if there are for the cultural
heritage or NDT markets?

Many thanks
