Museum Technology Department THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a qualified candidate who will, under the direction of the Manager of Museum Information Systems, provide support for a broad array of museum technology initiatives, focusing on projects involving interpretation of the Museum collections in both the galleries and on the web. This may include any or all of the following: concept development, specification design, project management, content development, application maintenance, and outcomes evaluation. Assists in electronic communications projects intended for various audiences, including teachers and other educators using various software tools. A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE must have a Bachelor's degree. Additional academic training in educational technology and outcomes evaluation are highly valued. Academic background or experience in art or museum education, and/or technology work experience is highly preferred. Strong planning, organizational and communication skills are required.
